Here’s what I believe:
I believe our lives are a series of little beautiful moments. In my life, it's my newborn daughter's fingers wrapping around mine. My dog dancing in circles for his food every morning. The way the world goes quiet right after sunset. I believe it's the same on a wedding day. The things that stand out to me as the most beautiful are not always the big things: your first dance as the married couple, the walk back down the aisle, etc.
Sometimes the most beautiful moments are the ones you don't notice at all. The way the light hits the lace on your dress when you walk. The way your partner is looking at you during your portraits. The look you give each other during a toast. The last song of the night, with your friends and family surrounding you in a circle and screaming the lyrics into your face. The moment with your Mom right after she zipped your dress up and is taking it all in. These are the moments that fuel my passion for what I do.
I believe that my couple's experience is the absolute most important thing. Your experience is my number one priority. I am the videographer who would rather have grainy footage than set up video lights if they'd be shining in your grandma's eyes. I am the videographer who will say "go enjoy cocktail hour!!" rather than push you to do another 20 minutes of sunset portraits if you're feeling done. I want you to be comfy and relaxed in front of the camera. My goal is for you to feel like you have a friend there capturing it, not just a videographer.
I believe each wedding film should be unique. You should watch it and think "this is so us." Are y'all going to roast each other or drop an F bomb during your vows? Here for it. Are you super emo and serious? Love it. When you watch your wedding film, I want it to feel true to you. I don't want there to be any weird expectation for you to be anything other than yourself on your wedding day and in your wedding film! No two couples are the same, and no two wedding films should be either.
I believe my job is important.
Being a witness to your wedding day is a privilege and an honor that I do not take lightly. To trust someone to capture one of the most emotional days of your life is huge. I am constantly grateful to be invited into these sacred moments. Saying "sacred" might feel a liiiiiittle dramatic, but to me, it really does feel that way. I know I am capturing more than a wedding day - I am capturing your Dad's smile, your best friend's dance moves, your laugh, the way you look at each other during a sweet toast. It's a million little things that add up to something beautiful - a film that makes you feel seen. A film that your grandkids can one day watch and say: "Ah, so this is who they were. This is how it all began."
“To some, the wedding day can be stressful... but lucky for us, Alexis made us feel so at ease. Not everyone is comfortable in front of a camera but the way Alexis worked is super... comforting. She really didn't even feel like a vendor! To us, she was a friend with a camera at our wedding day! She is seriously a DREAM to work with.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will you work well with my photographers?
Absolutely. I take pride in my ability to work with your photographers as your "paparazzi team" on your big day! I will do my best to coordinate with them so everything runs flawlessly. I've worked with 150+ photographers and have never had an issue. Meeting awesome photographers is one of my favorite parts of the job - we are the lucky ones who get to capture the magic!
Can I pick my own music?
I am a longtime lover of music and a firm believer that music can truly make or break a video. I license all of my music from www.themusicbed.com. You can absolutely check out the music available for license and send me some favorites. I love that site because all of the music has a very cinematic/indie feel to it and supports up and coming artists.
Can you travel to ______?
Yes, yes, yes! I’m based out of Atlanta, Georgia but would love to be there. Let me know where you're planning the wedding and I will get back to you with the estimated travel fees!
What do you shoot with?
I shoot in full 4K with Panasonic Mirrorless Cameras + Lenses, as well as a Mavic 2 Pro for drone footage (yes, I am drone certified!)
